We are currently looking for a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team and oversee the flow of food into and out of our warehouses.

Job Title
Warehouse Logistics Coordinator
Summary
Hours of work: 37 hours per week – occasional evenings and weekends required
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure effective warehouse storage and management procedures
- Oversee the change of warehouse premises
- Manage the warehouse in a safe and well organised manner
- Induct, train and supervise staff and volunteer teams
- Liaise with Welcome Centres / Fairbite Food Clubs (as required)
- Oversee the use of the charity’s vehicles
- Ensure effective transport of food
- Purchase food
- Make the warehouse available to receive public donations
- Ensure good records are kept
- Organise an annual stock check
Requirements/minimum knowledge: In good health and able to regularly lift supermarket crates of 10-20kgs onto shelves 1.4m high unaided, evidence of strong coordination skills, skilled in building and coordinating teams, able to work on own initiative, confident in the use of Microsoft Office software, full clean driving license
