Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. A variety of positions become available from time to time. However, our volunteer force of over 100 people are loyal and turnover is low so the role you would like might not be available immediately. The positions we are seeking at the moment are shown below. Regrettably (if you work full time) we cannot offer any volunteering opportunities for evenings or weekends

Warehouse Manager

This is a senior management position with administrative responsibility for our main warehouse and satellite warehouses. The role will be appropriate for someone with experience managing warehouse, retail or logistics operations. The time required is two mornings a week on site plus a few hours a week working at home.
