Cambridge City Foodbank is moving
We're saying goodbye to our home at Orwell House, and moving just down the road to a new location.

In August, Cambridge City Foodbank's warehouse units and offices will be relocated to a new location.
Our current home at Orwell House is scheduled to be demolished, forcing us to seek an alternative base for our large emergency and affordable food operation. We are moving into a single unit at 6 Nuffield Close, consolidating three warehouses and 2 offices into one building.
A team of volunteers will assist in the moving, including people who already routinely volunteering with the Foodbank, and staff from companies who are supporting our relocation. We are incredibly grateful for generous funding from Trussell and Cambridge City Council which has covered much of the outfitting of the new space.
Our normal emergency food operation will continue during the moving process, and our Foodbank Welcome Centre and Fairbite Food Club locations will not change.
The last day to drop off donations at Orwell House is Thursday 21st August. We'll be open at 6 Nuffield Close on Friday 22nd August. We will be closed on the following Bank Holiday Monday. Drop offs will then resume at the new location at the usual times. Full details of timings and locations can be found on our donate food webpage.
