Who's who at the Foodbank

Volunteer Development team

Asha and Veronica look after everything related to volunteer recruitment, training and coordination.

Chief Executive

Steve leads Cambridge City Foodbank and has overall accountability to the Board of Trustees. You'll see him around the office and warehouse, and at Volunteer Gatherings. 

Operations team

This team oversees the running of our emergency food provision operation at Foodbank Welcome Centres and the warehouse, working directly with the majority of our volunteers. You'll usually find them split between the office, warehouse and Foodbank Welcome Centres. 

Asha, who leads the Volunteer Development Team, is also part of this team.

Fairbite Development team

Jenny and Lucy oversee the operations and development of our five Fairbite Food Clubs, working with Fairbite partners across the city and staff coordinators in each shop. They spend time supporting the running of Fairbite Food Clubs alongside volunteer teams, meeting with partners and working from the office.

Organising and Campaigns team

This team leads on the local Guarantee Our Essentials Campaign, and support local campaigns on issues contributing to food bank need, led by people who have needed the Foodbank. You'll see them out and about at all of our locations.

Development team

The Development team are responsible for bringing in new resources to support the Foodbank to achieve it's aims, including continuing to provide emergency and affordable, and tackling the root causes of Foodbank need. They spend time working with people and organisations from across the Cambridge community, including companies, public sector bodies, grant funders and fundraisers. 

Finance and Administration

These staff work across the organisation, overseeing key processes that affect all parts of the organisation. They'll most often be found working in our office.
